Hello RGAA Member,

 

This is a reminder that you have until 5 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025 to vote in the election of four Rio Grande Art Association board officers for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. To vote online, review the nominations below and then click the voting button. You will also have the opportunity to write in a candidate.

Members also can vote in person at the June 21, 2025 member meeting, which begins at 9 a.m. at  UNM Continuing Education Building, 1634 University Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87131. Attendees will be eligible for a drawing of a $25 gift card from Artisan AQB Art Supplies.

Vote in Officer Elections

President: Sally Harris

Sally has been President Pro Tempore since January 2024. She successfully led the revision of the RGAA bylaws and change to a 501c3 non-profit organization. Sally is a semiretired neurologist who paints mostly in watercolor and acrylic, living in Albuquerque.

Vice President: Patricia Gallegos

Patty has been Vice President Pro Tempore since February 2025. She is a military reservist and past president of New Mexico Veterans Art, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization staffed and organized by volunteer veterans. Patty is an oil and pastel painter living in Peralta.

Secretary: Janine Wilson

Janine has been Secretary Pro Tempore since January 2024. She is a retired accountant and is involved with many art organizations. Janine has been instrumental in the revision of the bylaws and filing for 501c3 non-profit status. Janine is a photographer, watercolorist, and acrylic painter, living in Albuquerque. 

Treasurer: Scott Campbell

Scott has been Treasurer Pro Tempore since December 2024. After a long career in sales, Scott now joyfully paints in oil, often en plein air, and lives in Albuquerque.
